Not All Leaders Are Loud. And That’s Not a Weakness There’s a very specific type of leader who tends to get the most airtime. The loud one. The fast talker. The person who jumps in first and speaks with such confidence you almost forget to check whether what they’re saying is actually helpful. We’ve all seen it. And at some point, most of us have wondered if that’s what leadership is supposed to look like. Especially women. Some of the strongest leaders I’ve worked with weren’t like that at all. They were the ones who listened more than they spoke. Who didn’t rush decisions just to look decisive. Who noticed what was going on in the room, and not just what was being said out loud.
